Fall Celebrate Life Banquet - Greenville

Please join us for the 17th annual Celebrate Life Banquet which will be held at 7:00 pm on Thursday, October 23, 2008 at the Greenville Convention Center. Our guest speaker this year is well known syndicated columnist Cal Thomas. Some of you may remember Cal when he spoke to us in 1992 and again in 1998. Cal always has a timely message and we are sure you will be blessed by attending.

With a twice-weekly column appearing in over 500 newspapers nationwide, Cal Thomas is the most widely read and one of the most highly regarded voices on the American political scene. He is a panelist on the popular "Fox News Watch" show. His latest book, Common Ground: How to Stop the Partisan war that is Destroying America, was co-written with Bob Beckel. He and Beckel also write a twice-monthly column for USA Today.

A graduate of American University, Thomas is a 40-year veteran of broadcast and print journalism. He is a writer of force and clarity and has authored ten books.

He and his wife, Ray have four adult children, nine grandchildren. They reside in the Washington, DC area.
