All of the services at CPC are free to our clients. We provide
these services through the donations of individuals, churches
and small businesses, and local and regional grants. We are
not a United Way Agency, but designations can be made to us
through United Way Campaigns. We receive Title V Abstinence
Until Marriage Federal Funding through the Pitt County
Schools, which was originally appropriated by Congress under
the first President Bush. Otherwise, we receive no government
funds.
Many of our supporters give on a monthly basis. This allows
them to give more than if they gave in one gift. For example,
a person may not be able to afford a gift of $600 but broken
into monthly gifts of $50, over the span of a year they can
make that gift of $600. Monthly gifts are a help to CPC also
because they give a steady stream of income that we know we
can count on.

How we are funded:
CPC, as defined by the IRS, is a 501(c) (3) non-profit
charitable organization. Our Federal Tax ID number is 58
1603130 All donations to us are tax
deductible. CPC is funded by individuals, churches, and
businesses in the local community. We have been the recipient
of several grants including a United Way funds request for
proposal grant and several grants from the Pitt County Health
Education Foundation.
We are currently being supported by approximately 30 churches
in our local community.
We also have 5 major fundraisers each year:
• Celebrate Life Banquet
• Legacy of Life Gala
• Change for Life
• Golf Fore Life
• The Walk for Life
These fundraisers yield approximately
70% of our annual budget. All donations are welcomed.
